Waxy wood stain
RC 1x30
Fields of application
Window and door frames, garden furniture, cladding, balconies, fences, paneling, beams.
Product information
Confers water repellency to wood, maintaining its natural matte appearance. Protects against weathering and UV rays, with the exception of the transparent version, which lacks iron oxides.
Instructions for use
Raw wood. Prepare the substrate with 150-grit sandpaper. Clean the surface of sanding dust and apply 2-3 coats of product.
Stained/impregnated wood. RC 1x30 can be applied to wood treated with low-solid content stains or impregnating agents. Once the surface is clean, it can be lightly sanded with sandpaper or Scotch-Brite. Remove dust and apply 1-2 coats of product.
Varnished wood. Sand with 80-150 grit and return the wood to its raw state. Clean the surface and proceed with impregnation.
Maintenance
For items highly exposed to atmospheric agents, maintenance is only required on parts that begin to degrade. Sand the item with medium 180-220 grit, remove dust, and apply one coat of the desired color. A second coat can be applied to more degraded parts. If the item is not very exposed to bad weather, touch-up and renewal operations will be less frequent.
Overpaintability
Only with waxy finish RC xx30.
